Walking the trail

I was planning a walk with doggie along Sydenham lake today but there is a triathlon event which I forgot about. So we backtracked and went up the K&P trail from Harrowsmith instead. So I didn't have my camera with me. Here are some pics taken with my cell. I found some interesting iron pieces placed on the rocks. They are likely some iron pieces left from the old railway. If you can identify them, please add a comment. I did re-arrange them after picking them up to look at them. I'm hoping the next person will do the same. Leave no mark and take nothing away but pictures and memories.

This time of year the snappers are out on the trail finding gravel to lay their eggs. Here is a beaut! Doesn't she have lovely eyes.

bathroom reno
