Back on the trail

I was back on the K&P trail Sept 5th and found the iron pieces left there along the rock cut. See my post from July 10th 2016. No one had moved or disturbed them (or taken them away). So I adjusted them again. I'll check for them again next time I'm that way.

So, if you should pass by, re-arrange them again so I know you also leave no mark and take nothing away but pictures and memories.

Walking the trail

I was planning a walk with doggie along Sydenham lake today but there is a triathlon event which I forgot about. So we backtracked and went up the K&P trail from Harrowsmith instead. So I didn't have my camera with me. Here are some pics taken with my cell. I found some interesting iron pieces placed on the rocks. They are likely some iron pieces left from the old railway. If you can identify them, please add a comment. I did re-arrange them after picking them up to look at them. I'm hoping the next person will do the same. Leave no mark and take nothing away but pictures and memories.

This time of year the snappers are out on the trail finding gravel to lay their eggs. Here is a beaut! Doesn't she have lovely eyes.

Final Day!
And time to reflect on the work done over the past month.
It has been interesting seeing everyone's great work.
One of the reasons I took the challenge was because I was experiencing painter's block.
I have been a painter for over 40 years and developed a pattern in my work that needed some shaking up.
I've tried a lot of new things during the month, but I feel that I'm still up against that wall.
I likely will be painting over most of the work that I've completed in the last 30 days.
So if you are interested in having any of them for your home, let me know soon.

I have decided that a new painting every day in unrealistic for my style of painting.
Paint needs time to dry and build up layers.
